Chronicle Day: Day 100
Abercrombie’s recollection, frae the bandit camp tae the edge o’ the mountain.
We arrived near the bandit camp that Fluffy led us tae.
He’s a good lad. I’ll miss him.
Rudy scouted the camp—he’s the sneakiest, or so he claims.
We split into two groups:
- Group 1: Create a diversion
- Group 2: Abercrombie, Throsh, and Rudy sneak in the back
The plan was solid. The execution? Less so.
The distraction worked—fire always does.
But we were spotted.
Rudy stood toe-to-toe wi’ two bandits, tryin’ tae buy time.
The bairns were chained tae a spike in the ground.
Abercrombie and Throsh struggled tae free them.
The Bandit Captain woke.
Throsh called for help. Abercrombie was down.
Rudy killed one bandit, healed Abercrombie, and called for Kaz.
The camp was chaos:
- South wall ablaze
- Two tents burnin’
- Some fled, thinkin’ all was lost
Then Kaz—the beast—bamphed into the tent,
picked up both bairns and Abercrombie’s limp body,
and jumped 70 feet out the side.
Throsh and Rudy ran west.
We hid in the dark until the camp gave up the chase.
We reached the edge o’ Belanglo Forest.
Made camp. Set watches. Slept.
💤 Rudy’s Dream
Day 57
Rudy dreamt o’ a stupid-hot lass—Margot Robbie hot.
She whispered tae Throsh: “Your camp has been destroyed.”
Then he woke. Turns out Wood Elves had come tae camp and said exactly that.
Rudy thinks he’s psychic now.
They spoke o’ runes carved on the buildings.
🧭 Parting and Paths
- Abercrombie and Ryn take Glynn’s body home
- Kaz and Rudy join Throsh tae investigate his village
- Dart muttered somethin’ about perfectin’ his meatball recipe
We set out. The forest looks the same.
Rudy’s no convinced Throsh kens where he’s goin’.
But Ilara told him tae help, so he follows.
“The fire drew eyes. The chains broke. The forest whispered o’ ruin. And Rudy dreamt the truth.”
